My name is Kimberly Marfleet, I began skating at the age of 3 with the North Delta Sungod Skating Club.
I became a competitive skater at 9 years of age and my partner and I were B.C. Champions for 5 straight years at the Pre-Novice, Novice and Junior Dance Levels. We achieved Bronze, Silver, and Gold at Western Divisionals and ultimately competed at the Canadian Nationals in Novice and Junior Dance. In 1988, we received the Silver medal for Novice Dance at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in Victoria. Later that year, we were chosen to represent our country at the Junior World Championships in Sarajevo, but unfortunately my partner fractured his ankle just days before we were scheduled to leave. After competing at the Junior Level, I began my coaching career. I have been coaching since 2004.
I look forward to teaching your children through the ELITE Learn to Skate Program. Figure Skating has always been my passion and I am committed to teaching children how to learn the fundamentals of skating so that they can enjoy it as much as I have.
